Leading independent hardware specialist Total Hardware has further strengthened its premium Apex range with the introduction of the new Tudor Window Handles, bringing together authentic heritage styling with modern performance.
Designed by and exclusive to Total Hardware, the new handles are available in both Monkey Tail and Tear Drop designs, offering fabricators and installers a high-quality solution for heritage and period-style window applications.

Inspired by classic 19th century ironmongery, the Tudor Monkey Tail and Tear Drop handles have been developed to replicate authentic detailing. Both designs are suitable for use on all PVC-U, timber and aluminium window systems, making them a versatile choice across a wide range of projects. The range has been specially designed with consideration towards modern flush systems which open on variable geometries and opening arcs, avoiding frame clash between handle and outer frame.
Each handle features a durable metal locking mechanism to ensure long-lasting reliability, alongside a push-button operation with key dead locking for added security. An enhanced cylinder spring provides improved key retention, supporting dependable day-to-day performance.
Available in nine premium finishes, including Antique Black, Chrome, Satin Silver and Tungsten, the range enables seamless specification across both traditional and contemporary window designs.
Ease of fabrication has also been carefully considered, with colour-coded left and right-handed options supplied for straightforward identification and each handle provided complete with decorative key, fixings and a finish-matched cover for a consistent appearance.
Manufactured to meet the demands of modern window systems, the handles have been tested to BS EN standards for corrosion resistance and are backed by a 10-year mechanical and surface guarantee, underlining Total Hardware’s commitment to long-term quality and performance.
